Biubwa Omar Khamis is the Founder and CEO of Safari Gateway Ltd, promoting sustainable tourism in Zanzibar with over 15 years of experience. She also serves as Chairperson of the Zanzibar Women Chamber of Commerce and Board Member of the Tourism Cluster at the Zanzibar National Chamber of Commerce. Previously, she was Treasurer of the Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators. Biubwa holds an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education from Sunni Madressa School and technical training from Kengeja Technical Secondary School.
