Dr. Ali Akaak is a tourism and management professional with over 20 years of academic and industry experience. He holds a PhD in Management Studies (Tourism Management & Development) from the University of Exeter (UK), a Master’s in Management from Dhofar University, and a Bachelor’s in Management from Sultan Qaboos University.He has served as Senior Lecturer and Head of Continuing Education & Community Service at the University of Technology & Applied Sciences (UTAS), Oman, and previously held leadership roles in HR, business development, and consulting.
